Alcohol and Gambling Enforcement Citizens Academy

Alcohol and Gambling Enforcement citizens academy. Must be 18 years or older. Application and more info in link that follows.Have you ever wondered what it takes to be one of our special agents?

Our Citizens Academy will give you a behind-the-scenes look at the hard work they do.

Attendees will learn about our agency, the criminal and civil process, Minnesota's alcohol and gambling laws, evidence collection and more. Participants will use the information learned and apply it as they conduct their own mock investigation.

The academy runs Tuesdays from 5 to 7 p.m. from May 14 through June 18.

Classes will be held at the Burnsville Fire Department Station No. 1.

Responsible Beverage Service Training

Liquor bottles lined up with text promoting the Responsible Beverage Service Training programDespite the progress Minnesotans have made in recent years, impaired driving and irresponsible alcohol service continue to be all too common.

How can you help? Members of law enforcement, public health organizations and certain community coalitions can sign up for our free Alcohol Awareness Regional Trainer (AART) certification course. 

These classes help reduce the societal impact of excessive alcohol consumption and impairment.
